Hyaluronic Acid, also called “Hyaluron”, is an anionic, non sulfated glycosaminoglycan distributed widely throughout connective epithelial, and neural tissue. 

Hyaluronic Acid is an important component of the skin and a major contributor to the formation of a resilient gel-like ground substance that resists compressive forces.

It contributes to tissue hydrodynamics by creating space for the movement of cells.

It is believed to regulate the diffusion of micronutrients, metabolites and hormones between cells, and stimulate fibroblast migration, proliferation and collagen production (Edwards and Fantasia, 2007).

Created through a patented process, our 4D Hyaluronic Acid formulations are made up of Hyaluronic Acid in four molecular weights:

• Large molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid.
• Medium molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid,
• Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate,
• Small molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid.

Four Hyaluronic Molecular Weights

Each weight is developed to penetrate skin at different depths – the larger the molecule, the better the protection at the superficial skin layer, the smaller the molecule, the deeper the absorption. Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate can help to promote high affinity and adsorption properties of Hyaluronic Acid for skin.

Large molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid
Moisturizes surface of the skin while forming a barrier to prevent loss of moisture plus protects skin against environmental stressors.


Medium molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid

Hydrates skin cells below the surface of skin to improve elasticity and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate

Help to promote high affinity and absorption properties of HA for skin, superb moisturising, repairing of skin barrier, improving skin elasticity and leaving skin smooth.

Small molecular weight Hyaluronic Acid

Sodium Hyaluronate
A water-soluble salt that’s derived from Hyaluronique Acid but is more stable in cosmetic formulations. Sodium Hyaluronate revitalizes the skin and has visible effects on the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate
With its double character hydrophilic (attracts water) and hydrophobic (resists water) this molecule increases the affinity between Hyaluronique Acid and skin layers bringing longer lasting hydration. This particular molecule is the most promising when it comes to reducing fine lines and wrinkles, including crows’ feet and smile lines.

Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer

Molecule that consists of a cluster of molecules which are held together and act like a sponge, attracting water from your skin and the environment. It remains on the surface of your skin, keeping your skin hydrated for longer periods of time as well as protecting your skin from environmental stressors like pollution, UV rays and blue light.

Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid

A very small Hyaluronic Acid molecule that penetrates the epidermis and is stored in the skin to prevent transdermal water loss. This Hyaluronic Acid protects the skin and repairs damage from external aggressors that cause the aging process.

The complex molecular composition


The structure of a hexagon honeycomb, derived from the combination of 4 different molecular weights HA, including an amphiphilic molecule like the acetylated HA (a double character, hydro-lipo soluble that increases the affinity between different molecules and the skin structure) commits all active ingredients to target specific skin receptors and pathways increasing its efficiency as compared to current market competitors.

In short, the Regen4D molecular structure allows for deeper penetration into the skin, from the surface up to the dermis, all from a topical application. The addition of GABA with the immediate activation of GABA receptors, is triggering the skin to relax and get it protected, repaired, hydrated and smoothened.
